Will you help dogs like Oscar?

13 December, 2018

Hello, and Merry Christmas!

As we edge ever nearer to the festive break, we know that pet owners all over the country are looking forward to spending the holidays with their best four legged friends – and we know animals themselves are overjoyed to have their humans around more. None are quite as excited this year as seven year-old Oscar however, who has recently been reunited with his loving owner after the Mayhew supported the pair through canine lipoma surgery.

Oscar’s owner was a vulnerably elderly lady who was unable to take Oscar to a vet, so we happily stepped in and provided his clinical care free of charge. We are thrilled to say Oscar’s surgery went perfectly, and we are delighted they can both now enjoy another Christmas at home together – happy and healthy.

Mayhew’s community support services and Pet Refuge scheme are a lifesaver for vulnerable owners and animals, especially at Christmas time. To find out more about Oscar and how we help pets just like him, please see the attached press release or visit our website here.

This Christmas, we are helping people to help animals – will you help us by sharing our story?
