A WAITRESS at Nando’s was shot in the head with a pellet gun by a customer.
Police were called to the Victoria branch of the chicken restaurant chain after an altercation between customers.
Police said a 16-year-old wearing a “black puffer-style” jacket with a furry hood pulled out a pellet gun and shot the victim from close range on November 13.
The waitress was not seriously injured and the boy, who was wearing a hoodie with Adidas tracksuit bottoms and a black Nike backpack, ran off.
Detective Constable Kathryn Waite, of Westminster CID, said: “Those involved may have thought this to be a prank and found it funny, but it left the victim shaken and upset. We would urge anybody who was in the restaurant or around the local area at that time, who saw what happened or recalls seeing this group, to get in touch.”
