The working class has not wavered from its 2016 referendum decision
06 June, 2019
• CAMDEN needs to wake up to what is happening nationally. Britain has voted – again – for Brexit in the elections on May 23.
The working class has not wavered from its decision in the 2016 referendum. Since then the real progressives in business and trade unions have been working out what needs to be done for Britain to become a successful independent country.
Never mind the ideology of the next general election, Britain has to seize back from the European Union stranglehold its capacity to rebuild strategic industries such as steel, and to trade freely with the rest of the world. Deal or no deal!
Only on this basis can we begin to reconstruct the economic foundations for public services such as housing, health and social care.
