THE much-loved Hampstead Jazz Club “All-Stars”, led by musical director Jamie Safir, is supporting the Hampstead Christmas Festival this Sunday (December 2), playing both on Hampstead High Street and at the Duke of Hamilton, New End.

SHEKU Kanneh-Mason, the cellist everyone wants to see, is making his Milton Court, Barbican, debut this Sunday evening (December 2 – also on Tuesday 4th). His recital promises to be “charged with both wit and romance” – and he’s being accompanied by his sister and fellow star-in-the-making, Isata.

GET your Christmas off to a flying start by singing your festive favourites at the LSO Brass Ensemble’s Choral Christmas at the Barbican this Sunday evening (December 2). Leading the singing is a choir of singers of all ages.

A FUNDRAISER for Conway Hall’s “affordable chamber music” concerts is being played on Sunday evening (December 2) by the hall’s music director, pianist Simon Callaghan. He’s playing Beethoven’s Pathetique sonata, Schubert’s Wanderer fantasy, and two Schumann pieces.

VISIT the Kentish Town City Farm next Tuesday afternoon (December 4) to join Songhaven duo soprano Vivien Conacher and pianist Barrak Dyer singing to more than 50 farm animals. Lots of sing-a-longs and the animals’ festive favourites are on the bill.
