YOUNG primary school singers are hoping to perform live in front of Prince Harry and Stormzy – but they need your help.

The public can vote for Saint Christina’s School in St John’s Wood in the charity WellChild’s Over the Rainbow choir awards.

The competition is to see which of the country’s schools can best perform Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked!.

Saint Christina’s music director James Rhodes said: “This competition has been a fantastic opportunity for the school choir to prepare an arrangement of a well- known song, develop their vocal and ensemble skills and, most importantly, raise funds for an extremely worthy cause. I am incredibly proud of the choir for what they have already achieved and we would all be grateful for your vote and support!”

The five schools with the most votes and five schools with the highest fundraising total will then qualify for the final judging by a panel of musical experts.

You can view the videos and vote until June 8 at: www.wellchild.org.uk/over therainbow/
