PECKWATER Playboy Paul Smith is officially the best potter in Camden and Islington after sinking more balls than anyone else this season in the Chalk Farm Pool League.
Smith was crowned the Division Two Hotshot champion after defeating rival John Roberts, who plays for Boston Rimmers, on a packed Monday night at Cousins Snooker and Pool Club in Holloway.

The pair were forced into a play-off after finishing the campaign level with an 87 per cent win ratio.
But there was a gulf in class when they went head-to-head, with Smith storming to a resounding 5-1 victory.
Cousins Elite’s Levi Malcolm might beg to differ just who is the best, however.
He also won a first-to-five-frames showdown on Monday, comprehensively beating Sir Robert Peel’s Tony Stevens to capture the Division One Hotshot title.
Zombies’ James Allen
The pair both finished the season with a win ratio of 81 per cent, each winning a game less than Smith but playing at a higher level.
There was no arguing who the best pool player was in Division Three.
It was Zombies star James Allen who won 12 of his 14 matches this season to finish way ahead of his rivals and pocket the much-heralded Hotshot trophy.
