Two men are being sought after late night attack by National Gallery

A FIFTY-year-old man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after an assault in Trafalgar Square.

Police have issued CCTV footage of attack around 12.40am on Saturday June 3 outside the National Gallery.

The first suspect, who is seen punching the victim’s head, has a “top- knot” hairstyle and full beard and was dressed in a red T-shirt, dark trousers and light coloured shoes.

The second suspect, who was seen kicking the suspect on the floor after he collapsed, was wearing a black jacket with a white emblem on the right shoulder and white writing with a picture on the rear. He wore a white top under the jacket, dark trousers and dark shoes with white soles. There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.
