Police appeal for help in search for vulnerable 15-year-old last seen in Covent Garden

Search team says Benjamin Moorcroft has a mental age of between five and ten

POLICE in Westminster are appealing to trace a vulnerable 15-year-old boy who has gone missing.

Benjamin Moorcroft was last seen at 10pm Saturday, 21 October, in the Floral Street area of Covent Garden.

He is white, around 6ft tall, and of slim build with light brown hair. He was visiting London, and staying at a hostel in the Blackfriars area.

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a light pink jumper, a red shirt, blue jeans and trainers.

Benjamin, from Shrewsbury, suffers from severe epilepsy and has a mental age of between five and 10-years-old.

Officers and Benjamin’s family are concerned for his wellbeing and would urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000, quoting reference 17MIS046199

UPDATE: Police say Benjamin has been found
