Pedestrians could give way to buses!
29 November, 2019
• AS the dreadful “Boris buses” speed towards the end of their life, with a moratorium being placed on the ordering of any new buses in London, we are conditionally welcoming new electric buses on certain routes.
With their seemingly greater powers of acceleration and braking, can we hope that the new drivers will exercise “gentleness” when handling these buses.
Perhaps pedestrians could give way to buses on crossings so that occupants are not thrown all over the place.
Finally, as the season of goodwill approaches, could we all be more of a “Good morning, driver” and “please” and “thank you” community! Thank you.
