AS the sun shone down, people young and old came out to enjoy the festivities at the Marylebone Summer Fayre.

The final count is now complete, and the annual event, organised by the Howard de Walden Estate, has raised more than £25,000 for COSMIC (Children of St Mary’s Intensive Care), which aims to expand the department at the hospital in Praed Street which takes care of critically ill children.

On the day – June 18 – there was a tombola full of exciting prizes donated by local businesses.

There were also stalls with arts and crafts, plenty of food and drink, games and funfair rides for the kids.

Entertainment filled the stages throughout the day, ranging from live classical music to jive dance performances.
