Man hit by sign out of hospital

TfL 'very concerned'

04 September, 2020 — By Helen Chapman

A MAN who was injured when a tube station sign fell on him has been discharged from hospital.

The New Journal reported last week how paramedics were sent to Kentish Town underground station after the sign came down in high winds. It is believed to have fallen two floors above the entrance to the station in Kentish Town Road and knocked the man passing by unconscious.

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) are investigating the incident.

A TfL statement: “We are very concerned that one of our customers has been injured at Kentish Town. We will do everything we can to support them and to find out how this happened.”
