Love to be council’s new chief executive
19 January, 2018
WESTMINSTER Council will appoint a new chief executive next week.
Stuart Love has been recommended by the council’s appointments sub-committee and will be endorsed at full council on January 24.
He replaces Charlie Parker, who left the position in July to become the chief executive and head of the civil service for the States of Jersey.
Council leader Nickie Aiken said Mr Love had “an innate grasp of what makes Westminster tick” and was the man to deliver her “City for All” ambition.
Mr Love, who previously worked for Isle of Wight and Southampton councils, said: “It is an absolute honour to have been offered the top job at Westminster.”
