Let’s see more action to clean up the Marylebone air

23 November, 2018

The #clean air zone at Marylebone station is up and running

• I AM glad to see the first rail #clean air zone at Marylebone station installed as a collaboration between locally-based businesses BNP Paribas, Chiltern Railways, JCDecaux and, of course, Air Labs, with hi-tech bill boards that “scrub” pollution from the atmosphere at a busy transport intersection.

It makes up for the Marylebone LEN (Low Emission Neighbourhood) not doing anything north of the Marylebone Road, as though air pollution stops along the Marylebone Road and stays put south of it!

Maybe now Transport for London and Westminster City Council can do some enforcement against idling vehicles around Marylebone station after this great initiative.
