Join the Wooferendum march October 7

27 September, 2018

• I’M delighted Labour Cllr Richard Cotton believes that on Brexit “a further referendum might well resolve the impasse”, (Remember the Euro vote in the 1970s?, September 20).

He raises the issue about whether the people’s vote phrase is the right one to be using. For me, whatever one calls the vote, the essential thing is that all of us are given the chance for a final say.

The Brexit deal or no deal is such a big decision that it’s too important to be left to a few politicians. Especially when you see the lack of progress they have been making to date.

In the meantime, there is the Wooferendum. On Sunday October 7 dogs are taking their owners on a march to Downing Street to deliver a petition demanding that the great British public have the final say on Brexit.

Camden has many lovely dogs so give them a chance to bark out. You can find out more on www.wooferendum.org.

My wife and I are being taken to the Wooferendum and we look to seeing many Camden dogs with their owners on the way to Downing Street.
