CHILDREN and staff at Westminster Academy raised more than £1,600 for Children in Need with a non-uniform day and a special spotty-themed lunch menu.
The events were organised by Year 12 students at the school in Harrow Road as part of their Community Activity and Service project for the International Baccalaureate.
Principal Dr Saima Rana said: “I am thrilled that Westminster Academy students have been able to do their bit for such an important cause.”
The money added to the overall total of more than £46million to help children and young people across the country.
