I shall only consider voting for anti-Brexit parties on May 3
05 April, 2018
• NICKY Morgan is an MP I greatly admire – in particular as she put her country before her party in voting for Dominic Grieve’s amendment to the EU (Withdrawal) Bill demanding a meaningful vote by parliament on the final Brexit deal.
She admitted, following her door-knocking in Hampstead recently, that “if you feel really strongly about Brexit, it still resonates”. I agree.
As such I shall be following Nicky Morgan’s recent example in changing my usual voting preferences. At the upcoming local elections on May 3, I will only consider voting for anti-Brexit parties such as the Movement (who are backing local independents), the Liberal Democrats or the Greens.
