UNBEATEN Arsenal Ladies just missed out on glory in the Women’s Super League One Spring Series on Saturday despite putting on a five-star display in their final game of the season.

The Gunners shared the goals around, with Louise Quinn, Jordan Nobbs, Chloe Kelly, Danielle van de Donk and Beth Mead all finding the back of the net in a 5-0 victory over Bristol Academy Ladies at Stoke Gifford Stadium.

The result saw Pedro Martinez Losa’s side finish the campaign with five victories and three draws from their eight league games.

That, however, was only enough to see Arsenal finish third, a point behind champions Chelsea and runners-up Manchester City.
