THE Camden New Journal is this week launching its new podcast – giving our readers the chance to hear interviews with some of the interesting people who live and work here.

Each week we will be releasing new episodes for download, and hearing from people in the news and arts, and some of the characters who have always made Camden unique.

Over the next few weeks, join us as we talk family secrets with writer Vicky Unwin.

Discuss music education and his first break with Cold Little Heart singer songwriter Michael Kiwanuka.

Chat poetry and religion with the legendary Bernard Kops, and much more.

In our first episode, journalist Calum Fraser talks to Whittington Hospital consultant Professor Hugh Montgomery about what he has seen in the battle against Covid-19, the trends he has seen and what might be coming next.

You can listen to it on Spotify, Stitcher or Apple Podcasts – as well as many other providers – from tomorrow (Friday).
