Bake cupcakes for charity

07 June, 2019

• I’M calling on all baking pros and first-timers to dust off your baking bowls and whip out your whisks because Alzheimer’s Society’s Cupcake Day is on June 13.

Whether you’re a baking novice or a seasoned pro, unite against dementia with family, friends and colleagues by baking or buying cupcakes to raise vital funds.

You can get involved in Cupcake Day any time in June whether you choose to celebrate on the day or mark the occasion later in the month.

In the average time it takes to bake a batch of cakes, six people will develop dementia in the UK. Each cupcake sold will help the society find a cure, improve care and offer support, help and understanding for people affected.

Whether you choose to bake it or fake it, everyone can unite against dementia by signing up today at cupcakeday.org.uk.

If you’ like to know about other ways that you, your organisation, group or school can get involved in fundraising then please feel free to contact me at Pippa. Holdup@alzheimers.org.uk.
